WORKDAY POLICY (as adopted 6/9/15)

 

1. **If a member's property is rented to a tenant, the property owner is responsible for workday hours. Only homeowners may apply for workday waivers. Waivers will not be granted for temporary absences from the property, but are intended for hardships such as extended illness.

2. The workday requirement is a minimum of 6 hours per month for each

eligible individual.

3. Residents age 18 and over are subject to the workday requirement. Full-time students are exempt.

4. Part-time residents are subject to the workday requirement.

5. If a resident has worked more than the minimum required workdays for a 6-month period, the extra hours can be carried over to the next six-month period only.

 

**Note re #1--this does not mean a tenant asks a member to apply for a waiver on behalf of the tenant, it means only a

member can be given a waiver.
